FootyRivalry is designed to minimize data collection. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• ›Search queries — Your topic inputs are used solely to generate content. We may store anonymized, aggregated query data to improve trending topic features.
• ›Generated content — If you save content to your library, it is stored in our database and associated with your account.
• ›Authentication data — When you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture solely for account identification.
• ›Usage logs — Cloudflare Workers may collect anonymous server-side logs (IP addresses, user agents) for security and debugging, retained for a maximum of 72 hours.

• ›To generate content based on your inputs
• ›To display your saved content library
• ›To power the trending topics feature (anonymized query patterns)
• ›To detect and prevent abuse of the service
• ›To respond to your feedback or support requests

We never sell your personal data or use your inputs to train AI models.

• ›Generated content in your library is retained until you delete your account or specific items.
• ›Server logs are automatically purged after 72 hours.
• ›Search query patterns used for trending are aggregated and anonymized — no individual queries are stored beyond the aggregation window.

  Cloudflare Workers & D1 — Hosting, edge computing, and database. Data is processed in Cloudflare's global network.
• ›
  Google OAuth — Used for account sign-in. Google's privacy policy applies to their handling of your credentials.
• ›
  AI Content Generation — Queries may be passed to AI APIs to generate content. We use services that do not train on user inputs.

FootyRivalry does not use tracking cookies. We use minimal essential cookies for session management only. No behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking is employed.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Database access is restricted to authenticated application backends. No data is stored unencrypted at rest.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• ›Request correction or deletion of your data
• ›Object to certain processing activities
• ›Export your data in a portable format

FootyRivalry is not directed to users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will promptly remove it.
